These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HWGO.io, including its website, applications, messaging tools, artificial intelligence features, conversation analysis features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. ("HWGO," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What HWGO Is

HWGO is a structured conversation platform designed to help people explore ideas, disagreements, and perspectives through direct conversation and AI-assisted analysis.

Engage in structured one-to-one conversations with other users, Engage directly with artificial intelligence systems, Post or participate in public conversations, takes, or discussion threads, Offer replies to another user’s public take or conversation, Mutually agree with another user to promote an interaction into a structured direct conversation, Invite friends or other people to join HWGO or begin a conversation, Receive AI-generated analysis while a conversation is in progress, Receive end-of-conversation analysis such as key differences, steelman summaries, themes, related thinkers, and related online content.

2. Eligibility — Adults Only

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. HWGO is not intended for minors.

By using HWGO, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Service. We may use reasonable measures to enforce age eligibility.

3. Accounts and Account Security

You may be required to create an account to use some or all features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information reasonably current, and protect your login credentials.

Do not impersonate another person or create a materially deceptive identity, Do not access another person’s account without authorization, Do not sell or transfer your account except with our written permission, Promptly notify us at contact@kolbentech.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Structured Conversations With Other Users

HWGO is built for substantive disagreement. Users may challenge one another’s reasoning, assumptions, claims, and conclusions. Disagreement is permitted and encouraged; harassment and abuse are not.

A one-to-one conversation that is not publicly displayed should be understood as non-public, but not confidential. The recipient can see what you send and may independently copy, quote, screenshot, or disclose it. HWGO and its service providers may process the conversation to provide AI analysis, operate the Service, maintain security, provide support, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

Do not submit information in a conversation that you are not comfortable sharing with the recipient or having processed as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

5. Public Takes, Replies, and Public Conversations

Some features allow you to publish content that is visible to other users or the public. Public content may include takes, replies, usernames, profile information, public conversations, conversation excerpts, AI-generated summaries or analysis associated with public content, and other material clearly designated as public in the interface.

When you submit content through a feature identified as public, you understand that other people may view, copy, quote, link to, respond to, or otherwise interact with that content. A reply to a public take does not necessarily create a direct conversation. The Service may allow two users to mutually agree to promote an interaction into a structured one-to-one conversation.

Where reasonably practicable, the interface will distinguish public content from non-public direct conversations.

6. User Content and Ownership

"User Content" means messages, takes, replies, profile information, links, and other material that you submit to the Service.

You Keep Ownership

As between you and HWGO, you retain ownership of your original User Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your writing, viewpoints, or ideas to us.

License Needed to Operate HWGO

You grant HWGO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, analyze, format, display, and otherwise use User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, support, moderate, and improve the Service and to comply with law. For content you intentionally make public, this license also permits us to display and distribute that content through the Service and to make reasonable formatting or presentation changes.

This license does not give HWGO ownership of your User Content. Our handling of User Content for AI model training or broader product improvement is addressed in Section 9 and the Privacy Policy.

7. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use

HWGO is intended to create better disagreement, not more hostility. You may criticize ideas, arguments, institutions, ideologies, public figures, and another participant’s reasoning. You may disagree strongly. You may not use the Service to abuse, threaten, exploit, or unlawfully target other people.

You may not use HWGO to:

Make credible threats of violence or encourage violence against another person or group, Engage in targeted harassment, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact, Dox or disclose another person’s sensitive personal information without authorization, Encourage or facilitate suicide, self-harm, or serious physical injury, Attack or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics in a manner prohibited by our moderation rules or applicable law, Create, distribute, solicit, or facilitate sexual exploitation, including any sexual content involving minors, Impersonate another person in a materially deceptive way, Commit fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive commercial activity, Distribute malware or engage in malicious technical activity, Spam users or use unauthorized bots, scraping, or automated account activity, Infringe intellectual property or other legal rights, Use the Service for unlawful activity, Interfere with the Service or attempt to bypass moderation, security, access controls, usage limits, or technical restrictions.

Context matters. Discussion, criticism, historical analysis, satire, education, and good-faith examination of controversial ideas are not necessarily violations merely because the subject matter is offensive, unpopular, or contentious.

8. Moderation and Enforcement

We may, but are not obligated to, investigate, restrict, label, remove, reduce the visibility of, or otherwise moderate content or accounts. We may use human review, automated systems, or both.

Issue warnings or educational notices, Remove or restrict content, Limit communication between users, Temporarily restrict features or suspend an account, Permanently terminate an account, Preserve or disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary for safety, security, or enforcement.

We cannot guarantee that every objectionable, inaccurate, offensive, or harmful statement will be identified or removed. Users may be provided reporting and blocking tools. Abuse of reporting systems may itself violate these Terms.

9. AI Features and Use of Conversation Data

AI Analysis During Conversations

HWGO may analyze messages during an active conversation and generate information intended to help participants understand the discussion and decide what to focus on next. This may include possible areas of disagreement, agreement, ambiguity, assumptions, unanswered questions, claims requiring support, or other observations about the conversation.

End-of-Conversation Analysis

After a conversation, HWGO may generate additional analysis such as key differences, steelman summaries of participants’ positions, major themes, related thinkers or intellectual traditions, related concepts, and links or recommendations for online content or other resources.

Conversations With AI

HWGO may allow you to communicate directly with AI systems. The product will endeavor to distinguish an AI participant from a human participant. Do not assume an AI has human judgment, awareness, expertise, or intent.

AI Can Be Wrong

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased, outdated, or inappropriate. AI outputs are automated analyses, not authoritative determinations of which participant is correct, whether a factual statement is true, whether an argument is logically valid, or what a person believes, intends, feels, knows, or is like as a person.

AI analysis is provided for informational and conversational purposes only and is not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, investment, or other professional advice.

Third-Party AI Providers

We may use third-party artificial intelligence, hosting, search, moderation, analytics, or infrastructure providers to process conversation content and generate Service features. Information may be transmitted to those providers as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, subject to our contracts with them and the Privacy Policy.

General-Purpose AI Model Training

HWGO does not train general-purpose AI models using your conversation content. To provide AI-powered features, HWGO may transmit conversation content and related information to third-party AI service providers. Those providers may process that information in accordance with their agreements, terms, and data-use practices, which may include using submitted content to improve or train their models or services where permitted by those terms. HWGO may process conversation content, AI outputs, and user feedback as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, evaluate feature quality, detect abuse, troubleshoot, secure the Service, and improve HWGO. If HWGO’s own practices regarding the use of conversation content for AI model training materially change, we will update our disclosures and obtain any additional consent required by law.

10. Related Thinkers, Sources, and Online Content

HWGO may use automated systems to suggest thinkers, philosophers, researchers, writers, books, articles, websites, videos, concepts, or other material related to a conversation. These recommendations are informational and may be incomplete, inaccurate, controversial, or outdated. A recommendation does not mean that HWGO endorses the source, author, viewpoint, or claim.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. HWGO is not responsible for third-party content or services.

11. Intellectual Property in the Service

Except for User Content, HWGO and its licensors own the Service and its software, interfaces, branding, graphics, prompts, analysis systems, designs, and other proprietary material. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purposes.

Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, sell, lease, reverse engineer, scrape, systematically extract, or commercially exploit the Service or bypass technical restrictions without our written permission.

12. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content available through HWGO infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at contact@kolbentech.com with enough information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and the basis for your request. If appropriate for the Service, HWGO may designate a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.

13. Invitations and Contact Information

HWGO may allow you to invite friends or other people. You may only provide or use another person’s contact information for invitations when you have a lawful basis to do so. Do not use invitations for spam, harassment, unsolicited marketing, or repeated unwanted contact. We may limit or disable invitation features if we detect abuse.

14. Feedback About HWGO

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, feature ideas, bug reports, or other feedback about HWGO itself, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of the substantive viewpoints or ideas you discuss merely because you discuss them through the Service.

15. Paid Features and Subscriptions

HWGO may offer subscriptions or other paid features. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, cancellation methods, refund rules, and taxes will be disclosed at or before purchase. Additional terms presented at checkout may apply.

16. Service Availability and Changes

HWGO is an evolving service. We may add, modify, test, limit, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, that any particular content or analysis will be retained indefinitely, that AI features will always function correctly, or that another user will respond or continue a conversation.

17. Account Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

You may stop using HWGO at any time and may request account deletion through contact@kolbentech.com. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created material risk to other users or the Service, misused the Service, or exposed HWGO or others to legal liability.

Deletion of User Content is subject to the Privacy Policy, including legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and technical limitations. Public content that others have copied, quoted, or independently stored may remain outside our control.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge the data practices described there.

19. No Professional Advice and High-Stakes Use

HWGO is designed for conversation, learning, and exploration of ideas. User statements and AI-generated analyses are not professional advice. Do not rely on HWGO as a substitute for qualified legal, medical, psychological, financial, investment, emergency, or other professional services, or as the sole basis for a high-stakes decision.

20. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” HWGO DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USER CONTENT IS TRUE OR ACCURATE; AI OUTPUTS ARE CORRECT; USERS ARE WHO THEY CLAIM TO BE; THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; OR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. Some jurisdictions provide rights that cannot lawfully be waived or disclaimed, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HWGO, KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC., AND THEIR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED GREATER OF $100 OR AMOUNT PAID BY USER DURING THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS .

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of this section may not apply to you.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content, your material violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

23. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to HWGO, the Service, or these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Before filing a lawsuit, you and KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally by providing written notice describing the dispute and the requested resolution. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court without first completing this informal process where permitted by law.

Except for claims properly brought in small claims court or where applicable law requires otherwise, any court proceeding arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

24. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any court proceeding permitted under these Terms will be brought in Orange County, California.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HWGO evolves. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or through another reasonable method. Where required by law, we will obtain renewed acceptance before materially different terms become effective. The “Last Updated” date at the top identifies the latest revision.

26. General Provisions

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and KOLBEN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. regarding HWGO.
